The Council has 6 parish councillors, one of whom is elected chairman at the Annual Meeting held in May each year.
The Council employs a part-time Clerk who also acts as the Responsible Financial Officer and carries out the administrative work associated with the day-to-day running of the Parish Council. The Council also hires a Lengthsman, on an annually renewable contract, to keep the area neat and tidy.
The Parish Council is committed to ensuring that it is well run, complies with all relevant legislation, engages with the local community and works to achieve improvements for the local community.
The website contains information about the area, provides details of scheduled meetings of the Parish Council and provides contact details for each Parish Councillor and other useful contact details for individuals and various organisations that are active within the Parish.
The website also contains details of agendas and minutes of council meetings and information on the Council's finances, including income and expenditure information.
The Council will seek to maximise the use of the website to ensure that information on the discussions and resolutions made by the Council that are subsequently implemented are totally transparent and can be readily understood by all Parishioners.
