Defibrillator installed at the Village Memorial Hall

The Memorial Hall Committee have installed a defibrillator on the exterior of the Memorial Hall in Stubbins Lane. If anyone wishes to obtain further information or is interested in obtaining training in the use of this equipment then please contact the Parish Clerk for further information.

Parish Lengthsman

Following the recent resignation of our Lengthsman - Margaret Noblet, the Council have appointed a new contractor Mark Cornforth who commenced work with us on the 1st April. The Council wish to thank Margaret for the excellent and passionate work and service she has given during her time in the role and wishes her every success in her future ventures.

Parish Council Meeting on 7th April 2020

Due to the Coronavirus (Covid 19) Pandemic physical meetings of the Council have been suspended for the foreseeable future. However with the use of technology remote meetings will be held using video conferencing and this should enable business to be dealt with as normal. This was the case when the last meeting was held and, with the exception of of one member due to a business commitment, all of the other members plus Councillor Elizabeth Webster (Wyre Council Member) were able to fully participate. The meeting Agenda can be found in the downloads section and the minutes will be added to downloads by the 20th April.
